If requested by the <br /> Engineer , the Contractor shall submit supplemental progress <br /> schedules from time to time during the progress of the work. <br /> The schedule shall be in the form of a typical bar type <br /> chart. The project bar chart schedule shall be broken down into <br /> major classes of work for each major structure and into major <br /> equipment items , or shall be broken down into items of the <br /> proposal where the proposal is itemized. <br /> The Contractor shall, to every reasonable extent, carry on <br /> the work of construction of the various elements of the project <br /> concurrently , and shall not defer construction of any portion <br /> of the work in favor of any other portion without the express <br /> approval of the Engineer. <br /> G7 .04 Responsibility for Accuracy. The Contractor shall obtain all <br /> necessary measurements for and from the work, and shall check <br /> dimensions , elevations , and grades for all layout and <br /> construction work and shall supervise such work , for the <br /> accuracy of all of which he shall be responsible . Each <br /> subcontractor shall adjust, correct, and coordinate his work <br /> with the work of others so that no discrepancies will result in <br /> the whole work. <br /> Unless authorized by the Engineer , any work done without <br /> lines , levels, or grades established by the Engineer shall be <br /> done at the Contractor ' s risk. <br /> G7 .05 As-Built Drawings. The Contractor shall maintain a neatly <br /> 1 marked set of record drawings showing the final locations and <br /> layout of all mechanical, electrical and instrumentation <br /> equipment ; piping and conduit ; structures , and other <br /> facilities. Drawings shall be kept current with all field <br /> instructions ; mechanical , electrical and instrumentation <br /> equipment accommodations; and construction adjustment. Drawings <br /> shall be subject to the inspection of the Engineer at all <br /> times. <br /> Prior to acceptance of the work, the Contractor shall deliver <br /> to the Engineer two sets of neatly marked record drawings <br /> showing the information required above . One set shall be <br /> reproducible . Progress payments to the Contractor may be <br /> withheld if, in the opinion of the Engineer , record drawings <br /> are not kept current and in a satisfactory manner . <br /> G7. 06 Equipment and Methods. Only equipment and methods suitable <br /> ' to produce the quality of work required will be permitted to <br /> operate on the project. Equipment shall, except as specified in <br /> Par . G5 . 12, conform to that in general practice for work of the <br /> type undertaken .
