satisfaction of the Engineer . <br /> When any material is to be disposed of outside of the <br /> easement or street or highway right of way , the Contractor <br /> shall first obtain written permission from the owner on whose <br /> property the disposal is to be made. <br /> Upon completion of the work , and prior to requesting final <br /> inspection, the Contractor shall thoroughly clean the site of <br /> the work of all rubbish, excess material, and equipment, and <br /> all portions of the work shall be left in a neat and orderly <br /> condition. The final inspection will not be made until this has <br /> been accomplished. <br /> 8. MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT t <br /> G8. 01 Work to be Done without Direct Payment . Whenever it is <br /> specified that the Contractor is to do work or furnish <br /> materials of any class for which no price is fixed in the <br /> proposal, it shall be understood that he is to do such work or <br /> furnish such materials without extra charge or allowance or <br /> direct payment of any kind . The cost of doing such work or <br /> furnishing such materials is to be included in the price bid <br /> for such other items of work as he may consider appropriate , <br /> unless it is expressly specified in the Special Provisions that <br /> such work or materials is to be paid for as extra work. <br /> G8. 02 Measurement of Quantities . Payment for all work bid at a <br /> price per unit of measurement will be based upon the actual <br /> quantities of work as measured upon compltion. The Agency does <br /> not expressly or by implication agree that the actual amount of <br /> work or materials of any class will correspond to the estimated <br /> quantities given in the proposal. The Contractor shall make no <br /> claim for anticipated profits, for loss of profit, for damages, <br /> or for any extra payment whatever because of any difference <br /> between the amount of work actually done or materials furnished <br /> and the estimated amount. <br /> Items bid on a "Lump Sum" or "Job" basis shall result in a <br /> complete structure , operating plant or system in satisfactory <br /> working condition in respect to the functional purposes of the <br /> installation , and no extra compensation will be allowed for <br /> anything omitted but fairly implied. <br /> G8. 03 Change Orders. When the quantities of work for which unit <br /> prices are shown in the proposal are altered by the issuance of <br /> a change order the adjustment in the contract amount shall be <br /> determined on the basis of such unit prices for the actual ' <br /> quantities of work done, providing the change in quantities <br /> does not exceed 158 of the quantities shown on the proposal. If <br /> the change in quantities exceeds 158 of the quantities shown on <br /> the proposal, the adjustment in the contract amount shall be <br /> G-38 <br />
