(AGE)for the above subject site.
The EHD approves of limiting ozone injection to wells 01 and 05, near MW7 and limiting
quarterly sampling of monitoring wells to MW7. The EHD discussed the analysis of the water
samples from MW7 with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board. The
samples must be analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-g) and
MTBE because those are the contaminants that are still being found in the water samples from
MW7. The letter proposed MTBE and TBA, instead of TPH-g and MTBE. Please ensure this
change in analysis is made immediately. Annual sampling of MW4 and MW5 with analysis
limited to MTBE is also approved.
Once it has been determined that the ozone remediation system should be shut down, a new
sampling and analysis proposal must be submitted to and approved by the EHD for the post
quarterly 9
uarterl monitoring period.
A work plan for a soil gas investigation and/or a soil investigation of current contaminant
concentrations is still required to be submitted to the EHD by May 2, 2009.
If you have any questions contact me at (209) 468-3449 or Frank Girardi and (209) 953-7868.
Margaret Lagorio, REHS
Program Coordinator
Cc: Jim Barton, CVRWQCB
William Little, Advanced GeoEnviron mental, 837 Shaw Rd., Stockton, CA 95215
