Monitoring: <br /> -If nests are identified, County shall visit the site to ensure that no construction occurs <br /> during the nesting season. <br /> Mitieation 7. - Prior to construction of the access road, a survey shall be conducted for <br /> the presence of delta button celery in that portion of the freshwater marsh that would be <br /> impacted by the access road. If delta button celery is identified in this area, mitigation <br /> shall be provided as designated by the USFWS. <br /> Implementation Responsibilities: <br /> -Applicant provides the serves of a qualified biologist to conduct a sufvey fu: d,:tt:, <br /> button celery and submits a report to the County Planning Department. <br /> -County approves report or requires modification. <br /> -If delta button celery is identified in the area of the proposed access road, <br /> Applicant's biologist prepares mitigation plan. <br /> -County approves mitigation plan upon consultation with USFWS, or requires <br /> modification. <br /> -Applicant implements mitigation plan if required. <br /> Schedule: <br /> -Survey shall be conducted and approved prior to initial project construction. <br /> Monitoring: <br /> -If required, the applicant's biologist shall conduct an annual report on the success of <br /> the mitigation plan.
