Quarterly Monitoring Report- Fourth Quarter 2014 Page 4
' OAK RIDGE WINERY
WKA No. 6364.07
December 18, 2014
' Monitoring and purging equipment was cleaned prior to use in each well using a solution of
AlconoxTm and distilled water followed by rinsing three times in distilled water. Equipment
' cleaning rinsate and groundwater purged from the wells were disposed of in the aeration ponds
on site. Well Purging Data Sheets are attached in Appendix A.
1
5.0 RESULTS OF MONITORING AND SAMPLE ANALYSIS
' 5.1 Site Groundwater Conditions
Groundwater elevations (GWE) based on the DTW measurements ranged from +24.01 feet msl
in MW2 to +41.86 feet msl in MW3. It should be noted that MW3 is located approximately 100
' to 200 feet from the nearest reach of the Mokelumne River.
Groundwater flow direction was calculated to be towards the southwest at a gradient of 0.02,
' which is away from the Mokelumne River. Figure 3 shows estimated groundwater elevation
equipotential contours and water levels at the site.
5.2 Site Water Quality Conditions
A summary of groundwater quality conditions determined by chemical analyses of the required
constituents of concern as previously specified is presented in Appendix B, Tables B-1 and B-2.
Quarterly parameters are given on Table B-1 and annual general minerals parameters are given
' on Table B-2. Each constituent of concern whose concentration each groundwater sample did
not exceed its laboratory reporting limits in is excluded from the tables. Appendix C includes the
' laboratory data sheets and a copy of the chain-of-custody for this sampling event.
' 6.0 COMPARISON OF WATER QUALITY CONDITIONS TO APPLICABLE STANDARDS
' 6.1 Applicable Water Quality Standards
Water quality standards referenced in the RWQCB-CVR WDR or the EPA Primary and
' Secondary Maximum Contaminant Levels (MCLs)for the Site are as follows: 450 mg/L for
TDSa; 10 mg/Lb for nitrate as nitrogen; and 6.5 to 8.5 pH units for the Secondary MCL.
' a Water Quality Goal as stated in WDR
e Primary maximum contaminant level(MCL)and RWQCB-CVR MRP 05-01-172.
