WASTEWATER RECLAMATION REQUIREMENTS -2- <br /> LOCKEFORD COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT <br /> ALBERT AND MARIANNE WARMERDAM <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> 8. The Board consulted with the Department of Health Services and considered <br /> their recommendations regarding public health aspects for use of reclaimed <br /> water. <br /> 9. The action to revise wastewater reclamation requirements for this existing <br /> operation is exempt from provisions of the California Environmental <br /> Quality Act, in accordance with Section 15301 , Title 14, CCR. <br /> 10. The Board has notified the User, Reclaimer, and interested agencies and <br /> persons of its intent to prescribe wastewater reclamation requirements for <br /> the proposed use. <br /> 11. The Board, in a public meeting, heard and considered all comments <br /> pertaining to the use of these reclaimed wastewaters. <br /> IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Order No. 79-74 be rescinded, and Albert and Marianne <br /> Warmerdam and Lockeford Community Services District, in order to meet the <br /> provision contained in Division 7 of the California Water Code and regulations <br /> adopted thereunder, shall comply with the following: <br /> A. Prohibitions: <br /> 1. The direct discharge of reclaimed water to surface waters or surface <br /> water drainage courses is prohibited. <br /> 2. Irrigation with improperly treated and disinfected reclaimed water <br /> is prohibited. <br /> B. Specifications: <br /> 1 . Use of reclaimed water shall not cause a nuisance or pollution as <br /> defined by the California Water Code, Section 13050. <br /> 2. Reclaimed wastewater may only be used for irrigation of pasture, <br /> fodder, fiber, or seed crops. <br /> 3. Reclaimed wastewaters shall not be used for irrigating food crops <br /> for human consumption, nor shall these waters be used in <br /> recreational impoundments. <br /> 4. Reclaimed water and its runoff shall remain within the designated <br /> application area, as defined in Finding No. 3, at all times. <br /> 5. Reclaimed wastewaters used for irrigation shall be managed to <br /> minimize erosion and runoff. <br />
