Mr. Ned Butler with DTSC is providing consultative services in <br /> risk assessment evaluation for the Alden Park Site to support the efforts of the Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board. <br /> The referenced work plan is hereby approved on the condition you submit an adequate response to the <br /> comments outlined in the attached 11 April 1995 memo prepared by Mr. Butler. Also, as far as the <br /> ground water sampling is concerned, please explain why you propose to sample only 10 of the 18 <br /> monitoring wells. L <br /> According to the proposed schedule of tasks provided during our 28 March 1995 meeting, an initial <br /> public meeting should be scheduled as discussed. Since the process of obtaining access <br /> agreements/permits is projected to take 1-3 months, this process should begin immediately. <br /> You should contact me at least 72 hours prior to startup of this field work, so I can be present to <br /> observe procedures and split samples.
