File No. 20-3978-01.WR9 KLEINFELDER <br /> December 9, 1996 <br /> The new wells will be developed to set the filter pack, remove sediment from the casing, and <br /> increase the hydraulic radius of each well. Development will be accomplished by surging, <br /> bailing, and/or pumping each well until no sediment is observed in the purge water. Purge water <br /> will be discharged to the ground surface. <br /> 2.6 Groundwater Sampling <br /> At least 48 hours after the wells are developed, one round of samples will be collected from each <br /> monitoring well (a total of 21 samples). Groundwater samples will be analyzed for the following <br /> constituents: <br /> Constituent Analytical <br /> Method <br /> General Minerals <br /> Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium, Potassium, Hardness, Various <br /> Carbonate, Bicarbonate, Hydroxide, Chloride, Sulfate, Nitrate, <br /> MBAS, TDS, pH, Conductivity, Fluoride <br /> Inorganics <br /> Sb, Ba, Be, Cd, Cr(total), Co, Cu, Ag, Sn, V, Zn, Ni, Mn, SW6010* <br /> Pb, TI SW7000* <br /> Hg S W7471* <br /> As, Se SM3114B* <br /> Cyanide SW9010* <br /> Sulfide S W9030* <br /> Volatile Organics SW8260 <br /> Semivolatile Organics SW8270 <br /> Organophosphorous Pesticides SW8141 <br /> Chlorinated Herbicides SW8150 <br /> * =or equivalent <br /> This list of constituents is used by the state regulators (Regional Water Quality Control Board, <br /> and California Integrated Waste Management Board) to test for releases from municipal waste <br /> landfills. <br /> 2.7 Data Compilation and Analysis <br /> Data from the geophysical exploration, trenching, soil and water sampling, and landfill gas <br /> sampling will be compiled into summary tables, graphs, or maps as necessary to develop an <br /> understanding of the extent and character of the landfill areas. <br /> 20-3978-01.WR91MP960143 Page 6 nf9 01996,Kleinfelder, Inc. <br />
