A grading plan shall be submitted and approved and a <br /> grading permit issued by the Building Inspection Division <br /> prior to performing any excavation or filling of earth <br /> material. See UBC, Appendix, Chapter 70. <br /> C. The Construction Plan shall indicate the following: <br /> 1. Parking shall be provided for the physically <br /> handicapped. The space(s) shall be located =.s close <br /> as possible to the primary entrance (C.A.C. , Title <br /> 24) . <br /> 2. Identification signs for the parking space(s) , <br /> including the "tow away" sign, shall be provided at <br /> each entrance or be visible from each space (C.A.C. , <br /> Title 24) . <br /> 3. The slope of the parking space(s) shall not exceed <br /> 1/4 inch per foot (C.A.C. , Title 24) . <br /> 4 . PLANNING DIVISION <br /> a. The trash enclosure shall be designed to accommodate all <br /> trash receptacle and shall be constructed on three sides <br /> with a solid wall and gated on the fourth side. <br /> b. Parking lot lighting shall meet the following minimum <br /> standards: <br /> 1 . The equivalent of one foot candle of illumination <br /> shall be provided throughout the parking area. <br /> 2. All lighting shall be on a time clock or <br /> photo-sensor system. <br /> 3. Parking lot luminaires shall be high pressure sodium <br /> vapor with 90 degree cut-off and flat lenses. <br /> 4. All lighting shall be designed to confine direct <br /> rays to the premises , with no spillover beyond the <br /> property line (except onto Ideal Parkwrs - , provided <br /> such spillover does not cause a hazard to <br /> motorists). <br />
