Work Plan For Remedial Approach and Well Installation 3 <br /> Ranch Market Site 23569 South Santa Fe Road,Riverbank,California May 2,2002 <br /> 10 SVE wells would be used to extract soil vapor at 50 to 75 inches of H2O with a combined <br /> flow of approximately 500 scfm. <br /> The SVE system will meet the following specifications: <br /> Catalytic Oxidizer: Flow rate of 300 to 500 scfm at 75 to 100 inches of water. <br /> A total of 10 SVE wells with extraction rates of 30 to 50 scfm. <br /> Ozone Sparge System Specifications <br /> The ozone injection system would meet the following specifications: <br /> Ozone Injection: Two KVA ozone generator panels that each have a compressor rated to <br /> deliver 6 scfm of ozone at 10 psi. The system will be equipped with a <br /> solenoid, manifold, and timer, allowing injection of ozone into each <br /> individual sparge point at 6 cfm (Attachment 4). The two panels will be <br /> able to deliver 6 cfm of ozone to two wells at a once. <br /> Treatment Compound and Extraction Piping Specifications <br /> Referring to Figure 3 of 8 in Attachment 1, the treatment compound will be located in the <br /> northern portion of the property in the same location as previously specified. Individual <br /> extraction pipes will be run to the SVE wells and the ozone sparge wells. The piping shall be <br /> brought up in the compound in a manifold that will allow for measurement and adjustment of <br /> the individual well extraction and/or injection rates. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION IMPLEMENATION <br /> Implementation of the permitting, well installation, purchase of remediation equipment, <br /> installation of the remediation system, and operation of the remediation system is dependent <br /> upon pre-approval of SECOR's Budget For Remediation System Installation, date March 2, <br /> 2002. <br /> Remedial System Design <br /> A package of construction design drawings for the recommended remedial method is presented <br /> in Attachment 1. The package includes drawings for the existing and proposed remediation <br /> wells,conveyance trenches, utility connections, and the treatment system compound.
