Remedial Well and Soil Vapor Extraction System Installation Report 3 Ranch Market 23569 outh Santa Fe Road,Riverbank, A November 27 2002 • • On April 28, 2000, the RWQCB conditionally approves SECOR's Apn1 25, 2000 Revised Work Plan For Soil and Groundwater Assessment Final approval was granted on June 1, 2000 via an email from the RWQCB • On May 18, 2000, SECOR oversaw the down-hole video logging of domestic wells DW-1 and DW-2 SECOR submitted the May 23, 2000, Domestic Well Vtdeo Survey Report to the RWQCB The video log revealed the domestic well DW-2 that contained reportable concentrations of MtBE, was approximately 59 feet deep and had a hole in the casing at 32 and 40 feet bgs Well DW-1 was 70 feet deep and appeared to be screened from 60 to 70 feet bgs • Between July 17-18, 2000, SECOR oversaw the advancement of GeoprobeTM borings GP-1 through GP-4 north, east, and south of the former UST location (Tables 1 and 3) On July 24, 2000, SECOR advanced two continuous core soil borings, SB-1 and SB-2, to 70 feet bgs to define the lithology and vertical impacts to soil (Tables 1 and 3) On August 8-11, 2000, SECOR oversaw the installation of MW-5D and MW-5 through MW-9 to define the vertical and lateral extent of soil and groundwater impacted with gasoline released from the former UST at the Site • A report was submitted by SECOR entitled Evaluation of Potable Water Sources, dated August 18, 2000, to the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (SJCEHD) and the RWQCB • September 6, 2000, SECOR attended a meeting with the RWQCB, SJCEHD, and SWRCB UST Cleanup Fund to review the assessment results and plans for the supply of potable water to the Pantoja Property • A work plan was submitted by SECOR entitled Work Plan For Well Installation and Feasibility Testing, dated September 13, 2000 to the RWQCB • A report was submitted by SECOR entitled Additional Evaluation of Potable Water Sources, dated September 14, 2000 to the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (SJCEHD) and the RWQCB • In December 2000, Bradley and Sons Drilling installed domestic well DW-21Z on the Pantoja property to replace well DW-2, which was destroyed by Gregg Drilling on January 11, 2001 The new domestic well was brought online on January 18, 2001 • On September 21 and 22, 2000, SECOR oversaw the installation of air sparge well AS-1 and six soil vapor extraction wells, V-1 through V-6 adjacent to the former tank pit at the Site A soil vapor extraction/air sparge feasibility test (SVE/AS) was conducted between October 2 and 3, 2000 The SVE extraction rates ranged from 95 to 220 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM) and the radius of influence was estimated to be 40 feet I\Ranch Market-RiverbanklReports\RB-Reined Well Install doc SECOR International incorporated
