Final Remediation Plan Page 14 <br /> Ranch Market 23569 South Santa Fe Road Riverbank CA February 28 2001 <br /> 6.0 CORRECTIVE ACTION IMPLEMENATION <br /> 6.1 Final Remedial System Design <br /> A package of construction design drawings will be prepared for the recommended remedial <br /> method The package will include location drawings for the existing and proposed <br /> remediation wells, conveyance trenches, utility connections, and the treatment system <br /> compound Specified construction details (trench and piping details, wellhead details, <br /> instrumentation diagrams, etc ) will also be illustrated <br /> A construction bid package will be prepared, including the design drawings, technical <br /> specifications, and general construction conditions to describe the type and extent of <br /> construction activities to be performed The technical specifications will address details of <br /> the design not included in the design drawings, including the methods, engineering standards, <br /> and materials which must be used by the contractor during construction The general <br /> conditions will present contractual language regarding the requirements Specifications for <br /> extraction and treatment process equipment will be prepared to aid procurement of the <br /> equipment <br /> 6.2 Permitting <br /> All necessary permits for system construction and operation shall be obtained prior to system <br /> installation Based on the selected remedial methods, the following construction and <br /> operating permits may be required for the proposed system <br /> • SJCEHD well installation permits for the 4 new vapor extraction wells and 12 new <br /> ozone injection wells Since all proposed wells are located on a single parcel number, <br /> APN 249-070-12) on well installation will be needed to install the SVE and ozone <br /> infection wells In addition, a work plan detailing the installation of the proposed <br /> remediation well will need to be prepared and approved by the RWQCB <br /> • PG&E Service Plan Request for connection of electrical and natural gas service As <br /> shown on Figure 11, the electrical overhead line runs on the west side of the property <br /> and a pole is located approximately 50 feet west of the proposed compound location <br /> The Ranch Market has standard commercial natural gas service In conversation with <br /> the PG&E service representative, connection of a high pressure (5 psi) gas line may <br /> require PG&E to install a new connection on the main gas line that is shown on Figure <br /> I I on the east side of the site In order to supply 3-phase power PG&E will need to <br /> install new transformers on the existing power pole Both service connections will <br /> result in significant charges by PG&E In addition, the PG&E Service Representative <br /> indicated that a new service connection could take upwards of 24 weeks to schedule <br /> and complete <br /> • Building and electrical permits from the San Joaquin County Community <br /> Development Building Division for the installation of the compound slab, fence, <br /> electrical and/or gas service, electrical control panel, and wiring <br /> File FRP-report doc SECOR International Incorporated <br />
