Final Remediation Plan Page I <br /> Ranch Market 23569 South Santa Fe Road Riverbank CA February 28 2001 <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> This Final Remediation Report (FRP) is submitted by SECOR International Incorporated <br /> (SECOR) for the Ranch Market Site located at 23569 South Santa Fe Road, Riverbank, <br /> California (the Site, Figures 1 and 2) This FRP was prepared in response to the California <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board-Central Valley Region (RWQCB) letter dated January <br /> 2, 2001 This FRP incorporates the requirements of Appendix A of the Tri-Regional <br /> Recommendations for Preliminary Investigation Evaluation of Underground Storage Tank <br /> Sites and includes <br /> • A summary of current and past Site use <br /> • A summary of environmental investigations and results <br /> • A summary of the domestic wells on and adjacent to the Site <br /> • A summary of current Site conditions <br /> • A summary of the soil vapor extraction and air sparge feasibility test <br /> • A review of remedial approaches for the removal and/or insitu destruction of gasoline <br /> adsorbed to soil and dissolved in groundwater at the Site <br /> • A cost comparison of the remedial approaches <br /> • A conceptual design of the recommended remedial alternative <br /> 2.0 SITE HISTORY <br /> 2.1 Site Description <br /> Ranch Market is located on the west side of the road at 23569 South Santa Fe Road, <br /> Riverbank, California Currently the Site is being operated as a small convenience store The <br /> single story structure on the site is used as a convenience store and home for the store <br /> manager The Site is located approximately 1,200 feet north of the Stanislaus River in San <br /> Joaquin County (Figure 1) The property is bounded on the north and east by Santa Fe Road <br /> and an almond orchard, to the west by undeveloped fields that extend to a Santa Fe Railroad <br /> track, and to the south by three residences shown on Figure 2 The Site and adjacent <br /> properties are flat lying and have an elevation of approximately 105 feet above mean sea <br /> level <br /> 2.2 References <br /> The following documents were reviewed and used to prepare this FRP <br /> o UST Removal Field Notes, May 20, 1991 (San Joaquin County PHS), <br /> o Phase 11 Environmental Site Investigation, November 28, 1999 (Arrowhead Consultants), <br /> o Quarterly Monitoring Report, January 24, 2000 (Arrowhead Consultants), <br /> o Work Plan far Soil and Groundwater Assessment, March 30, 2000(SECOR), <br /> o Work Plan For Domestic Well Video Logging, April 20, 2000(SECOR), <br /> o Revised Work Plan for Soil and Groundwater Assessment, Apnl 25, 2000 (SECOR), <br /> o Work Plan for Well Installation and Feasibility Testing, March 30, 2000 (SECOR), <br /> o Quarterly Monitoring and Sampling Report(Q2/2000),May 1, 2000 (SECOR), <br /> File FRP report doc SECOR International Incorporated <br />
