,5 <br /> a� <br /> Domestic Well installation Report(DW-2R) 3 <br /> Ranch Market 23569 South Santa Fe Road,Riverbank CA Februuy 1 2001 <br /> On December 26 and 27, 2000, Bradley completed well DW-2R with 6 518 inch internal diameter <br /> steel well casing from ground surface to 208 feet bgs and placed forty feet of 0 060-inch slot <br /> screen from 208 to and 248 feet bgs A#6 sand pack was set from 200 to 250 feet bgs On <br /> December 27, 2000, SECOR's field geologist and Ms Margaret Lagono with the SJCEHD were <br /> onsite to observe setting of the well seal (Attachment 5) Referring to the DWR Well <br /> Completion Report included in Attachment 4, the well was sealed with bentonite from 200 to <br /> 197 feet bgs and neat cement from 200 feet bgs to grade <br /> From December 28, 2000 to January 5, 2001, Bradley installed the dedicated well pump, pressure <br /> tank, concrete pad, and well-related underground electrical and water service line to the home <br /> Bradley developed the well and disinfected the well, well materials, and pump assembly A <br /> Water System Inspection Report (Attachment 4) shows the details of the new well equipment <br /> (make, model, etc ) The 2-horse power submersible pump was set at 147 feet bgs and the static <br /> water level was recorded at 32 feet The well was tested and found to produce 30 gallons per <br /> minute at a pressure of 30 psi (Attachment 4) <br /> • CONFIRMATION WATER SAMPLES <br /> Initial Groundwater Sample Collection and Analyses <br /> In order to bring the well online, the SJCEHD required a confirmation water sample be collected <br /> from the well and analyzed for benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, and xylenes (BTEX), total <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPHg), oxygenates, 1,2-Dichloroethane (1,2- <br /> DCA), and 1,2-Dibromoethane (EDB) using Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) method <br /> 8260B and Nitrate/Nitnte using Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) method 300 <br /> i <br /> On January 8, 2001, SECOR purged DW-2R for 15 minutes, then obtained a water sample for <br /> laboratory analysis (Attachment 5) Two water samples were collected in appropriate containers, <br /> preserved on ice, and transported under chain-of-custody manifest to Kiff Analytical LLC in <br /> Davis, California and California Laboratory Services (CLS) in Sacramento, California The <br /> water samples were analyzed at Kiff for BTEX, TPHg, oxygenates, 1,2-DCA, and EDB using <br /> EPA method 8260B The sample was also analyzed at CLS for Nitrate/Nitnte using EPA <br /> method 300 0 <br /> File DW 2 Destruct doc <br />
