Human Services Page 2
3. The report indicated that TPH-diesel, EDB, and total lead analysis would be
discontinued, per the direction of EHD. PHS/EHD indicated in
correspondence dated February 17, 1993 that TPH-diesel,EDB, and total lead
analysis should continue for a minimum of two quarters. Since TPH-diesel has
been detected and EDB may have been detected, quarterly analysis should
continue. Total lead analysis may be discontinued at this time; however,
PHS/EHD may request periodic analysis should detectible concentrations of
contaminants change.
Please contact Mary Meays, REHS, of my staff at (209) 468-0337 if you have any questions
or to schedule the next quarterly sampling event.
Jogi Khanna, M.D., M.P.H.
ealth Oflfiic/er
. kEHS,
Donna Heran, Program Manager
Environmental Health Division
I.AC/MM:lb
c: Elizabeth Thayer, CVRWQCB
c: Frances Okamoto
c: Michael Smith, Health Care Services
c: Mel Wingett, San Joaquin County Administrator
c: Brooke Birkie, Neumiller and Beardslee
c: Robert Sengebush, Weston
