According to the San Joaquin County Department of Public Works, Flood Control Division <br /> groundwater in the vicinity of the subject property is likely to be encountered approximately 5 <br /> to 20 feet below ground surface with a groundwater gradient to the southwest. <br /> 2.2.3 Surface Water <br /> The nearest surface water is the San Joaquin River, located approximately 3 miles west of the <br /> subject property. <br /> 2.2.4 Radon <br /> Dames & Moore reviewed radon testing for San Joaquin County published in the "State of <br /> California Department of Health Services, California Statewide Radon Survey, Interim Results, <br /> 1990". The survey indicates radon was measured in 30 locations within San Joaquin County. <br /> The average radon concentration was 2.53pCi/L. The EPA action level for radon is 4.0 pCi/L. <br /> Based on this information, radon is not considered an environmental concern to the subject <br /> property. <br /> 2.2.5 Wetlands <br /> Dames & Moore contracted with VISTA Information Systems, Inc.
