Scotts Ave. j
Stockton, CA ,}
y i
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD) has reviewed the"Quarterly I
Report—Third Quarter 2004" (report) dated December 10, 2004111 and the "Sensitive Receptor
Survey" dated December 1, 2004, prepared by Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. for the above i
referenced site.
The monitoring wells at this site have been sampled and depth to water measurements have
been taken four times since October 2003. Groundwater contamination has beeniconfirmed in l
the area of monitoring well 2 and the flow.of the shallow groundwater has been determined to be
to the north/northeast. The lateral and vertical extent of soil and groundwater contamination must
be determined. The shallow contamination appears to have been defined to the west and ,
northeast. Further shallow investigation to the south/southwest and east is required as well as a
vertical investigation. A site conceptual model that justifies the further work proposed must be
submitted with a work plan to further investigate the lateral and vertical extent of soil and
groundwater contamination by February 15, 2005.
Although, data has been submitted to the State Water Resources Control Board Geotracker web
site. The elevation surveys and the latitude and longitude coordinates completed by Morrow 1
Surveying for monitoring wells MW1, MW2 and MW3 have not been submitted and the soil data {
for the work completed October 9, 2003 has not been submitted.' This information should be f
submitted immediately.
If you have any questions contact me at(209)468-3449.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Department
i
i
Margaret Lagorio, Supervising REHS
Unit IV
c: CVRWQCB—Jim Barton
AGE—Dan Kalmbach
li
i
I'
