Decontamination procedures: <br /> Level D <br /> 1. Wash equipment and hands.. .. v <br /> 5.2 Equipment/Instruments ; <br /> Tools and small equipment will be decontaminated, as necessary,at the <br /> completion of each task or whenever they require additional cleaning. Prior to <br /> cleaning, equipment will be.stored on plastic sheets in appropriate places on the <br /> trucks. Personnel will wear protective clothing during decontamination of <br /> equipment equivalent to the Level of Protection required.during the use of the <br /> equipment. <br /> All possible measures will be taken by personnel to prevent the contamination of <br /> any monitoring equipment. Instruments that cannot be easily decontaminated will <br /> be placed in a clear, sealable,plastic bag that allows for sample intake and <br /> exhaust. <br /> 5.3 Heavy Equipment <br /> Decontamination_procedures <br /> High pressure water will be used, as necessary,to clean wheels,undercarriage, <br /> and upper structures of equipment.
