1.3.2 Health and Safety <br /> All Contractor personnel shall have been trained in accordance with the <br /> applicable sections of 29 CFR 1910 and 29 CFR 1926/1910, and shall be current <br /> in their health and safety training and participation in an annual medical <br /> monitoring program. <br /> Construction of the well will involve drilling into aquifer zones containing <br /> known concentrations of Dibromochloropropane (DBCP) and Ethylene Dibromide <br /> (EDB). Presented in Table 1 are the results of recent monitoring of the <br /> groundwater in the vicinity of the well location. This information is provided for <br /> advisory purposes only and no warranty or claim is made that the concentrations <br /> shown in the table will be similar to actual concentrations encountered during the <br /> construction of the wells. <br /> Also provided for reference in Table 2 is a summary of health effects of <br /> DBCP and EDB. This information is also provided as only an advisory and the <br /> Contractor is encouraged to conduct his own evaluation of health effects for <br /> protection of his workers. <br /> It is TreaTek-CRA's opinion that it may be necessary to use Level B <br /> personnel protection at least during the initial drilling of the borehole. Hence, the <br /> Contractor should be capable of determining if Level B protection is required and <br /> be capable and experienced in conducting drilling operations in Level B <br /> protection. <br /> 1.3.3 Chargeable Costs and Expenses <br /> The Contractor will furnish all materials, labor and equipment necessary for <br /> the construction, installation, development, and performance testing of the <br /> 3 <br />
