payment. All revisions shall be marked clearly and notes and dimensions shall be in red <br /> and be clear and legible. These plans will be used by the project engineer or consulting <br /> engineer to mark up the original drawing with the revisions made during construction. <br /> Section 5.2 License and Hazardous Material Certification Requirements <br /> The contractor shall be an individual or firm licensed to do business in California and <br /> shall obtain at his/her expense all license(s) and permit(s) required by law for <br /> accomplishing any work required in connection with this contract. <br /> The contractor shall possess ;documentation showing that all field personnel have <br /> current safety training and medical surveillance in accordance with OSHA Regulation 29 <br /> CFR 1910.120 at the time bids,are opened. A site-specific health and safety plan will <br /> be required before proceeding. <br /> { Section 5.3 Invoicing Requirements <br /> The successful bidder shall submit all invoices in the format recommended by the <br /> California Underground Storage Tank Cleanup Fund. The consultant's invoiced costs <br /> shall reflect the actual work performed. <br /> Section 5.4 Maintaining Public Convenience and Safety <br /> :i <br /> Adequate and continuous ingress and egress shall be maintained through the site for <br /> police, fire, and other emergency vehicles. A staging area for construction materials <br /> shall be determined by the Fire Station, Engineer, and Contractor. <br /> Section 5.5 Changes <br /> No additional payment will be made for added work unless a change order has been <br /> issued. Any change order shall be authorized by the City Manager or authorized <br /> representative, or by the City Council. An exception to this is work performed as park of <br /> the contingency section of the bid schedule. Payment shall be made for each additional <br /> f quarter of contingency work at the unit prices bid. Contingency work shall be authorized <br /> by the Engineer. <br /> Section 5.6 Electrical Hookup <br /> + The City of Stockton shall be responsible for coordinating electrical hookup with PG&E <br /> and for monthly electrical bills. . Please contact Ms. Sharla Hardy of the Department of <br /> Public Works at (209) 937-8374. <br /> i <br /> Section 5.7 Pre-construction Meeting <br /> The City of Stockton Public Works Department shall conduct a pre-construction meeting <br /> with the Contractor prior to commencing work. This meeting will be scheduled by <br /> Sharla Hardy (209-937-8374) of the Special Projects Division and will be held in the City <br /> of Stockton, Public Works Department. <br /> Section 5.8 Post-Construction Meeting <br /> The Contractor shall be required to attend a post-construction meeting that will be <br /> arranged by Sharla Hardy, Department of Public Works Engineering (209-937-8374) <br /> { after completion of work and prior to acceptance and final payment. The purpose of the <br /> meeting will be to discuss the' project and .any related issues that can help improve <br /> future projects. This meeting will be held in the City of Stockton, Public Works <br /> Department. <br /> SP4 <br />
