At this meeting the Contractor will also submit the marked-up set of record drawingslas- <br /> built plans at no additional cost to the City. <br /> SECTION 6 BLANK <br /> SECTION 7 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> Section 7.1 General <br /> Partial payment shall be made upon completion of bid items and acceptance of bid <br /> items as complete by the Engineer. No partial payment shall be made for materials that <br /> are furnished on hand but not yet installed or incorporated into the work. Bid items are <br /> grouped into two schedules. Schedule A is the main schedule, including all project <br /> activities that are expected. Schedule B is a contingency schedule, which shall be used <br /> if 1) remediation is not complete at the end of one year of system operation and 2) the <br /> San Joaquin Public Health Services, Environmental Health Department believes that <br /> remediation is achievable with further operation. Up to four contingency quarters may <br /> be added with no change order. <br /> Section 7.2 Measurement <br /> The schedules of measurement and payment are listed below. <br /> Schedule A: Main Schedule <br /> 1. Installation of three vapor wells and three air sparge wells: Lump sum. Includes <br /> preparation of a workplan, securing permits, and well installation. <br /> 2. Installation of a soil vapor extraction system (VES) and air sparging (AS) system: <br /> Lump sum. Includes completion of wellhead piping connections; pressure testing of <br /> lines; installation of the remediation enclosure; connection to electrical service and <br /> installation; and plumbing of all process equipment related to the VES and <br /> groundwater AS system. Also includes all necessary equipment, including equipment <br /> listed in Sections 10.3 and 10.6. <br /> 3. Remediation system startup, testing, and reporting: Lump sum. <br /> 4. Remediation system operation and maintenance: Lump sum. Includes site <br /> inspections, monitoring and adjusting of system parameters, sampling, sample <br /> analysis, field monitoring, and reporting for one year. <br /> 5. Quarterly monitoring of groundwater wells: Lump sum. Includes sampling, sample <br /> analysis, and reporting for six quarters. <br /> 6. Confirmation soil borings: Lump sum. Includes preparation of a workplan, obtaining <br /> soil boring permits and advancing 4 confirmation soil borings in preparation for <br /> closure. <br /> 7. Closure report: Lump sum. <br /> 8. System decommissioning, equipment removal, and well destruction: Lump sum. <br /> Includes preparation of a workplan, obtaining well destruction permits and well <br /> destruction activities for 18 wells. Disrupted surfaces to be replaced as described in <br /> Section 10.14. <br /> SP5 <br />
