Messrs. Hall and Musco • - 2 - 8 May 2002 ' For the Stormwater Monitoring the following deficiency was noted: • The analyte pH was not reported. February 2002 Monitoring Report For the industrial wastewater monitoring requirements the following deficiencies were noted: • Biochemical Oxygen Demand(BOD) was not reported on a weekly basis. For the Wastewater Pond Monitoring the following deficiencies were noted: • Freeboard was not reported. • Dissolved oxygen in the pond was not reported. • Wastewater stored in other ponds (i.e. emergency pond or diesel pond)was not monitored. For the Land Application Area the following deficiencies were noted: • Hydraulic loading rate is described in hours of wastewater application and therefore does not allow calculation of BOD and TN loading rates. • The BOD loading rate for each land application area is not presented. • The TN loading rate for each land application area is not presented. In addition, the nitrate as nitrogen result was not included in the loading rate calculation. It is noted that the nitrate as nitrogen concentration was 782 mg/l. Omitting such a high concentration from the loading calculations results in substantially lower loading rates. • A map showing the land application areas was not included in the report.
