Kennedy/Jenks Consultants
Fixed Dissolved Solids by EPA Method 160.4.
• Total Hardness by EPA Method 130.2.
8.6 Residuals Management
Residuals generated as a result of these field activities are anticipated to include soil cuttings
from the drilling activities, decontamination water resulting from the drilling activities and
development of the monitoring wells, and purge water from sampling of the monitoring wells.
The soil cuttings will be distributed on the ground near each worksite.Water residuals will be
distributed on the ground in a manner that does not affect worksite safety.
8.6 QA/QC Procedures
Field QA/QC measures will include careful equipment decontamination between samples and
sampling locations. In order to validate the groundwater sample results, duplicate groundwater
samples will be collected and analyzed for the water quality constituents and parameters listed
above.A duplicate sample will be collected immediately following collection of the primary
sample during each sampling event. The results of the duplicate sample will be compared to the
primary sample for consistency.
The analytical laboratory will observe its customary internal QA/QC procedures during analysis
of the samples. This will include such measures as analysis of method blanks, control spikes,
and matrix spikes. The laboratory will be requested to meet analytical reporting limits consistent
with prevailing industry standards for this type of site characterization.
Analytical data received from the laboratory will be reviewed immediately upon receipt for
completeness and consistency.Any discrepancies will be discussed with the laboratory and
corrective measures, such as reanalysis or resampling, will be implemented if warranted.
8.7 Report Preparation and Submittal
8.7.1 Well Installation Report
A Monitoring Well Installation Report(Phase 11 Report)that summarizes the groundwater well
installation and sampling activities will be prepared after the well installation, development, and
initial sampling and analysis activities have been completed. The Phase II Report will include
the following information:
• Purpose of well installation project.
• Brief description of geologic/hydrogeologic conditions encountered during installation of
the additional groundwater monitoring wells.
• Site map showing facilities, well locations, and other major physical and man-made
features.
• Drilling details, including soil boring logs, a narrative description of field activities;well
construction details;well development information; and a well survey.
Page 30 Phase I Groundwater Investigation and Work Plan for Phase 11 Investigation
Musco Family Olive Company, Tracy, California
s:uvdvm,n'W+oznmia.m.m,w.wnwnenvmimna. ywn»a rviMsw.x.n prune«
