Box .2009.
Stockton, CA 95201
Re: Laura Scudders, 100 W. Valpico Road, Tracy, California
Dear Sirs,
Precision Industries, Inc. has been involved in the removal of
underground storage tanks at the above named facility.
At the .present time, the project work scope can be set into
three .categories.
1) Excavation of Tank 3
Tank #3, a 12,000 gallon tank, was removed on May 17, 1989. At
that time two soil samples were collected by Roy F. Weston Labs.
They are identified by T-3 North and T-3 South in the enclosed soil
.sample reports. Because of the condition of the excavation, the
collection of the third sample from under the middle of the tank was
delayed until June 7, 1989. These sample results are identified as
MT-A for the EPA 8020 method and MT-B for modified 8015 method.
Soil .sample analysis for tank T-3, EPA. 8020 and modified 8015
standards indicate nondetectable component values. In accordance we
request permission to backfill and install an asphalt cap over the
tank #3 area..
2) Excavation of Tank 1
Tank .#l,. a 1,000 gallon gasoline tank, was removed on May 22, 1989.
At that time, two soil samples were extracted by Roy F. Weston Labs.
These .samples are identified by T-1 East and T-1 West in the soils
report.
The samples were extracted at a depth of eleven feet below grade.
The EPA 8020 standard analysis indicated nondetectable levels. The
EPA 8015 modified standard analysis indicated nondetectable levels.
