Trinitas Farming, LLC <br /> 7835 S.Inland Dr. <br /> Stockton, CA <br /> Spill Discharge/Response Plan <br /> Following an incidental spill, the emergency coordinator will be responsible for completing an <br /> incident report and making notifications (as necessary) to San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health(209) 468-3420 following the guidelines in Section 7.2 of this plan. <br /> b) Response to an Emergency Response Situation <br /> Emergency Response Situations are defined as one that does pose a significant harm or threat to <br /> human health and safety to the environment. Emergency Response situations are generally those <br /> where: <br /> • It may cause high levels of exposure to toxic substances. <br /> • It is life or injury threatening. <br /> • Employees must evacuate the area. <br /> • It poses Immediately Dangerous to Life and Health (IDLH) conditions. <br /> • It poses a fire or explosion hazard. <br /> • It requires immediate attention because of danger. <br /> • It represents an oxygen deficient condition. <br /> In the event of an emergency response situation the following guidelines should be followed: <br /> 1) Upon initial discovery: <br /> a) Determine: <br /> • Is the spill incidental or emergency response? <br /> • Should you evacuate or respond? <br /> b) Safety First: <br /> • Do not put yourself in harm's way <br /> • If conditions change, the spill or leak may no longer be incidental <br /> 2) Inform and Block: <br /> a) Notify an Emergency Coordinator <br /> • Inform: who, what, where, how much <br /> b) Limit traffic through the spill area <br /> 3) Call Emergency Responders: <br /> a) 911 <br /> b) WHF, Inc.: (209) 247-5964; (209) 872-2168 <br /> 4) Protect Yourself <br /> a) What Personal Protective Equipment is needed? <br /> • Check with Emergency Coordinator <br /> • Check SDS sheets <br /> 5) Deploy Spill Response Materials <br /> a) For Emergency Response: <br /> • Prevent spill from entering the natural drainage areas and protect around the <br /> well using absorbents, wattles, dirt, large equipment, etc. <br /> 6) Bag or containerize waste <br /> 35 <br />
