Spill control equipment is located <br /> throughout the facility(Figure 3) and is discussed in detail in Section 7.1.4. <br /> If the primary emergency coordinator is not available at the time of the discharge, then the <br /> designated alternate or highest person in seniority assumes responsibility coordinating response <br /> activities. <br /> 7.1.4 Spill Control Equipment <br /> Spill control equipment on site includes granular absorbent, empty drums, brooms, and shovels. <br /> Spill control equipment can be found in and around the shop building and at the fuel storage area. <br /> The location of spill control equipment is noted on Figure 5 of this Plan. <br /> 7.1.5 Disposal <br /> All materials disposed of will be done so as outlined on manufacture's Safety Data Sheets (SDS) <br /> and/or the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act(RCRA). <br /> Waste resulting from an incidental spill or leak response will be containerized in impervious bags, <br /> drums,buckets,or stockpiled and covered on plastic sheeting. The primary emergency coordinator <br /> will characterize the waste for proper disposal and ensure that it is removed from the facility by a <br /> licensed waste hauler. <br /> Waste resulting from an emergency response will likely be handled by the cleanup contractor, and <br /> shall include characterization of the waste for proper disposal, and removal from the facility by a <br /> licensed waste hauler under a hazardous waste manifest, if appropriate. <br /> 7.2 Reporting Requirements for Releases (40 CFR 112.4) <br /> All releases or threatened releases shall be reported as soon as it is discovered to management. <br /> Incident reports shall be kept on file in the front office.
