6.6.2 Monitoring Methods
6.6.2.1 Visual observations will be conducted per paragraph 6.5. The entire facility
will be visually inspected four times a year for possible storm water
pollutants. BMPs that are to be used when a storm is imminent will be
evaluated to determine preparedness and effectiveness. Hazardous
materials storage and good house keeping will be reviewed for compliance.
Mobile and fixed operating equipment will be examined for leaks and
possible sources of pollution.
6.6.2.2 Sampling shall be in accordance with 6.6.1. Method detection limits (MDLs)
are determined by the certified laboratory performing the sample analysis.
The MDLs provided by the certified laboratory shall be sufficient to comply
with the requirements of the monitoring program and the General Permit.
6.7 Soil Erosion
Soil Erosion does not occur as the facility is 98% impervious.
7 EVALUATION/MONITORING:
7.1 Annual Comprehensive Site Compliance Evaluation TABLE VIII
7.1.1 An Annual Comprehensive Site Compliance Evaluation (ACSCE) report will be
completed annually in the month of May or June. The ACSCE shall record and
evaluate all visual observation records, inspection records, and sampling and
analysis results, if required to be taken. The ACSCE shall be included as part of
the annual report and retained for five years.
7.1.2 The ACSCE includes a visual inspection of all potential pollutant sources for
evidence of pollutants entering the storm water run-off.
7.1.3 A visual inspection of facility BMPs shall be conducted to determine: state of
readiness for BMPs utilized during storm events; effectiveness of BMPs;
recommendations for additional BMPs; and readiness and sufficiency of spill
response kit.
7.1.4 The ACSCE Report includes:
Identification of personnel performing ACSCE.
ACSCE date of completion.
Recommended SWPPP revisions.
Review in scheduling or design changes to BMP's listed in the SWPPP.
List of incidents of non-compliance and corrective actions taken.
Certification that the facility operator is in compliance with the General
Permit.
Potential pollutant source/industrial activity area
BMP's for each source/activity.
BMP revisions, if required.
NexFrame LP-WDID# 5S30020707 November 1, 2007
SWPPP -17-
