The age of this AST is estimated <br /> at not greater than 20 years [22CCR§66265.192(k)(3)]. The remaining service life is <br /> estimated at 10 years [22CCR§ 66265.192(k)(11)]. Additional AST specifications are <br /> included as Table 2 <br /> 2.1.3. AST Construction <br /> The AST specifications and features are shown on Figure 3, including: <br /> • General shape is cylindrical; <br /> • Orientation is length wise, east to west [22CCR§66265.192 (k)(1)]; <br /> • The AST primary and secondary annular shells are of construction thickness 12 <br /> gauge steel [22CCR§66265.192(k)(2)(A)]; <br /> • Though the original dull silver paint coat appears slightly faded, with minimal areas <br /> showing bear steel, the AST is within a precipitation free enclosure.The visible tank <br /> surface appeared in fair condition. Information on the original corrosion protection <br /> coatings were not available from the manufacturer[22CCR§66265.192(k)(5)]; and <br /> • The AST is bolted through the storage shed floor surface to the concrete slab. <br /> 2.1.4. AST Ancillary Equipment <br /> The AST ancillary equipment includes a Therma-gauge visual overflow mechanical gauge, <br /> manufactured by Kruger Sentry Gauge Co., Green Bay, Wisconsin. <br /> 2.2. OVERFLOW PROTECTION <br /> The overflow protection system is comprised of a visual level gauge.The visual level gauge <br /> is a mechanical float indicating empty to full, in 1/8 - inch and '/ - inch scale.
