Conti gency Plan, <br /> 2. Emergency Plan <br /> I. Plant Site Description <br /> A. General <br /> 1. McCormick and Baxter is a wood preserving plant using: <br /> a. Creosote <br /> b. Clilborne solutions <br /> c. Waterborne solutions <br /> List of chemicals given in Table 1 <br /> 2. No off-site shipping of chemicals-only treated wood. <br /> 3. 30 acre-site, primarily unpaved. <br /> 4. Process wastewater is currently discharged by gravity <br /> sewer to the City of Stockton wastewater treatment plant <br /> on Navy Drive via the City sewer system. <br /> 5. Hazardous wastes are generated from condensing the retort <br /> process water. The waste water is treated in the north <br /> and south oil water seperator tanks to recover oil. un- <br /> usable waste sludges are sent to the evaporation and <br /> storage. The LPG tank and Cellon retort condensate are <br /> blown down to the evaporation tank for evaporation and <br /> storage. Evaporation tank sediment is disposed of at a <br /> Class 1 hazardous waste disposal site. <br /> B. Potential Spill Locations (see exhibit 1) <br /> 1. Chemical tanks <br /> Total storage capacity in 15 tanks = 1.06 million gallons <br /> (see exhibit 1 and table 2) <br /> 2. Chemical Mixing areas <br /> a. ACZA liquid mixer. <br /> X-24 <br />
