JOB TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS Page 2 <br /> Foreman <br /> • Direct supervisor of all employees assigned <br /> • Responsible for safety and welfare of all employees assigned <br /> • Coaches and counsels employees on the importance of safe work <br /> procedures <br /> • Involved and enforces the provisions of the Injury Prevention and <br /> Safety Program and the Zero Injury Culture <br /> • Promotes near hit reporting <br /> • Conducts daily inspections of the work areas. Identifies unsafe work <br /> practices and initiates corrective actions <br /> • Encourages employees to report unsafe conditions and practices <br /> • Assists in the training and documentation of all safety training <br /> • Assists in the investigation of injuries, accidents and incidents <br /> • Reports incidents to the superintendent and safety specialist <br /> • Instructs employees in the recognition and avoidance of potential <br /> hazards <br /> • Assists in the development of codes of safe practice and safety <br /> procedures <br /> • High school diploma required, First Aid CPR encouraged. <br /> Janitor <br /> • Perform general cleanup around the facility. <br /> • Be able to operate a forklift and a sweeper. <br /> • Uses absorbent to absorb and remove grease and oil. Disposes of <br /> material in appropriate manner <br /> • Performs on-site inspections and informs the foreman of needed <br /> corrective actions needed to be taken <br /> • No specific educational requirements. Must be able to read and speak <br /> English. <br /> Fuel/Lubeman <br /> • Valid California Commercial Driver's License Class A or B with Hazardous <br /> Materials and Tanker endorsements <br /> • Responsible for their own safety and the safety of others around them <br /> • Obeys all safety rules and regulations <br /> • Drives safely and obeys all traffic and workplace rules and regulations <br /> • Able to demonstrate proficiency in the safe operation of a fuel and lube <br /> vehicle. <br /> • Performs documented pre and post shift vehicle inspections <br />
