o The division safety specialist designed and the division implements <br /> and assists all business units in our company with the controlling, <br /> reporting and collecting of hydrocarbon products released on a job <br /> or in the community. <br /> o The form was created and is implemented to provide a checklist for <br /> all employees of the company to adhere to should the encounter a <br /> release of hydrocarbon material. <br /> o Business units are assisted with the collection and transportation of <br /> the released product and clean up materials to one of the <br /> designated Mobile Equipment facilities. <br /> o The product is coordinated with an environmental collection <br /> company who processes the proper bill of lading and transportation <br /> of the product to an approved processing/recycling facility. <br /> o Mobile Equipment handles the documentation and verification of <br /> the product disposal. The division is also the record keeping facility <br /> for all disposal of hydrocarbon released product. <br /> o This program has been a direct contributor to the excellent <br /> reputation our company has as a responsible business partner in all <br /> areas we do business. <br /> • Hazardous Materials Management Plan <br /> o Under the direction of the Division Administrator, the division <br /> project engineer and safety specialist perform a site analysis of <br /> company as well as division facilities. <br /> o Hazardous material inventories are compiled. <br /> o The county environmental business plans are completed and <br /> submitted directly to the respective county. <br /> o For business units outside Mobile Equipment, the plan is forwarded <br /> for review and submission by the respective business unit <br /> manager. <br /> o Plans are updated when there are significant personnel and/or <br /> inventory changes. <br /> o Plans are reviewed, updated, and submitted on an annual basis. <br /> • Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plan (SPCC) <br /> o The spill plan is completed and submitted by the division project <br /> engineer. <br /> o The plan is compiled for Mobile Equipment as well as all company <br /> business sites that have fueling facilities. <br /> o The training for the division is completed and documented by the <br /> division safety specialist. <br /> o Assistance is given to company business units to complete their <br /> training requirements and for their compliance with the state <br /> requirements. <br />
