Phone <br /> o Facility Operator(D1r./Mgr.): <br /> o CAE/ Franchise Consultant:: <br /> o Elite Customer Solutions: 888-778-0763 <br /> • Fire <br /> o Shout— FIRE <br /> o Stop gasoline flow— Emergency Shutoff Switch. (Show Location)+ <br /> o Call 911. <br /> o If the fire is small and can be contained, use fire extinguisher to put out <br /> the flames. (Show Location)+ If you are not comfortable or the fire is <br /> not manageable—DO NOT attempt to fight it!!!! <br /> o If unsafe, Leave the facility and proceed to Staging Area. (Show <br /> Location)+ <br /> • Minor Spill Response(manageable, less than 5 gallons and remains on the <br /> surface of the property) <br /> o Shut down turbine/dispenser at the emergency shut-off switch or main <br /> electrical panel. (Show location of electrical panel shut off)+ <br /> o Attempt to contain immediately— Never wash down! <br /> o If safe, attempt to prevent spill from entering storm drain or leaving <br /> property (Place absorbent/absorbent pads in front of spill to create a <br /> dam). <br /> o Instruct customers to move out of area and restrict access by barricading <br /> area with delineator posts and caution tape. <br /> o Use spill kit to contain spill on facility property. (Show Location)+ <br /> o Use appropriate PPE/Safety Equipment (i.e. safety vest, Nitrile gloves, <br /> safety glasses). (Show Location)+ <br /> o Store/dispose used materials in properly labeled hazardous waste drum. <br /> ■ Label waste drum if applicable <br /> ■ Check for waste accumulation time on drum <br /> ■ Never place used materials in the trash <br /> o Document spill capacity/information in spill log. (Show Location)+ <br /> o Report spill to Elite Customer Solutions. <br /> • Major Spill Response (Not manageable, greater than 5 gallons, or any amount <br /> of petroleum enters a storm drain, catch basin or leaves property boundary) <br /> o Shut down turbine/dispenser at the emergency shut-off switch or main <br /> electrical panel. <br /> o Evacuate if necessary. <br /> o Call 911. <br /> o If safe, attempt to prevent spill from entering storm drain or leaving <br /> property (Place absorbent/absorbent pads in front of spill to create a <br /> dam). <br /> o Instruct customers to move out of area and restrict access by barricading <br /> area with delineator posts and caution tape. <br /> 2006 BP CADO Training Guidelines 1 of 3 5/17/2006 <br /> Attachment E <br />
