Criteria for selection <br />PID instrument (such as OVM 580B) readings in the breathing zone are less than 100 <br />ppm. Work functions preclude splashes, immersion, or potential for unexpected <br />inhalation of any chemicals. <br />NOTE: Modifications of Level D will be used to increase the level of skin protection during <br />activities which increase the degree of contact with chemical hazards. These modifications <br />include the use of chemical resistant coveralls (e.g., tyveks) and chemical resistant gloves. <br />Level C Protection <br />1.
