• INSTALLING THE CONDUIT FITTING (cont'd) _ UB0075 and UB1075 for uncuffed entry into sump Reducer for cuffed entry into sump UB1075 FLAT SURFACE NUT: 25.30 FT LSS CLAMP: 30 IN LBS 3/4' INSERT WASHER CURVED SURFACE NUT: 25-30 FT LBS CLAMP: 301N LBS 3/4" INSERT GASKET WASHER Cut hole using a 2-1/2" hole saw and follow the same in- stallation procedure as the UB0075. For 3/4" conduit, use the pro- vided 3/4" insert (CS1075). For 1" conduit, remove insert. These bulkheads are universal and can be used on both flat and curved surfaces. Reducers— For cuffed sumps Drill hole in 3" cuff using 2-1/2" hole saw (HS0250). Abrade outer surface in circumferential motion to provide good sealing surface. Place conduit reducer onto cuff and anchor with largest clamp 1 to 2 foot pounds. Insert conduit and make all connections before tightening second clamp 1 to 2 foot pounds. BACKFILLING Avoid direct backfilling onto sumps or piping as it may distort these products. Step One Space all lines minimum 4" apart and 6" from trench wall (refer to installing the secondary pipe - step two, page 2). Step Two Be sure to support entire secondary pipe with backfill. When covering pipe, do not dump backfill material di- rectly onto pipe as this may crush the secondary. COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION Step One Fill out Site Layout Sheet (page 8) and make a copy. Step Two Fill out Installation Checklist (page 9) and tear from book. Step Three Fold together Site Layout Sheet and Installation Check- list, making sure the business reply faces out, and mail. CROSS REFERENCE FOR ENVIROFLEX PIPING COMPONENTS SP4500 Follow standard Enviroflex instructions. VP2501 [Option #11 Option #1 uses VP2501 as secondary containment piping assembled with test donuts. Follow standard Enviroflex instructions and refer to cross reference chart of compo- nents found above. VP2501 [Option #21 Option #2 utilizes VP2501 as secondary containment pip- ing assembled with a flow tube kit. The secondary piping extends past the bulkhead fitting, into the sump, and terminates just before the primary coupling. The second- ary is terminated and interconnected. When using this option, replace the corresponding steps of the standard instructions, beginning on page 2, with the steps found on page 7.
