The containers <br />were: <br />-One black metal 55 gallon drum of aerosols was observed in the hazardous waste storage cage without hazardous <br />properties on the label. <br />-Three black plastic 55 gallon drums of waste oil were observed in the hazardous waste storage cage labeled as <br />non -hazardous waste and missing hazardous properties and physical state on the label. <br />-One black plastic 55 gallon drum of waste oil was observed in the hazardous waste storage cage labeled as <br />non -hazardous and hazardous waste. The label was also missing hazardous properties and physical state. <br />-Four black plastic 55 gallon drums of waste soaps and latex paint were observed in the hazardous waste storage <br />cage without hazardous properties on the label. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br />words "Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br />(contents), accumulation start date <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br />action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br />(EHD) within 30 days. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />An inspection checklist was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection. A complete report was <br />finished on March 10, 2020 and replaces the initial checklist. <br />Violation #112 and #118 were added to the final inspection report. <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, by April 10, 2020. <br />Starting September 1, 2018, all in -office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
