SECTION 9-3603 . ADDITIONAL SIGNS. The following signs are <br /> permitted in the zone district indicated in addition to those signs <br /> allowed within such zone districts: <br /> (a) Residential signs. Residential signs shall be permitted <br /> in any zone which provides for residential land uses; <br /> (b) Political signs. Political signs shall be permitted in <br /> any zone, subject to the requirement that such signs shall <br /> not be nailed or affixed to any tree, fence post, or <br /> public utility pole and shall not be located in the public <br /> right-of-way, parkway, or publicly owned land; <br /> (c) Realty signs. Realty signs shall be permitted in any <br /> zone. <br /> Source: Ordinance No. 3226. <br /> SECTION 9-3604 . TEMPORARY SIGNS. The following signs are <br /> permitted in any zone on a temporary basis: <br /> (a) Development signs; <br /> (b) Subdivision signs; <br /> (c) Political signs, provided such signs shall not be posted <br /> more than forty-five (45) days before the election and <br /> shall be removed within thirty (30) days after the <br /> election. <br /> Source: Ordinance No. 3226. <br /> SECTION 9-3605 . OFF-PREMISE SIGNS. Unless otherwise speci- <br /> fied in this Title, the area, height, and spacing requirements for <br /> off-premise signs and advertising structures shall be as follows: <br /> Category Requirement <br /> Area 672 sq. ft. maximum, including border and trim, per <br /> sign face, 48 ft. maximum length <br /> Height 50 feet maximum above grade in any industrial zone; 45 <br /> feet maximum above grade in all other zones <br /> Spacing 1000 feet minimum from another off-premise sign on <br /> either side of the same street. <br /> Source: Ordinance No. 3226 . <br /> SECTION 9-3606. MONUMENT SIGNS. Monument signs shall be <br /> allowed in all commercial and industrial zones subject to the <br /> following requirements: <br /> (a) The maximum height shall be six (6) feet above the natural <br /> grade. <br /> (b) One (1) monument sign per business or industrial facility <br /> shall be allowed. <br /> (c) The maximum sign area shall be twenty-four (24) square <br /> feet per face, with double-faced signs permitted. <br /> 3 . 75 Rev. 11/ 4/91 <br />
