SECTION 9-3603 . ADDITIONAL SIGNS. The following signs are permitted in the zone district indicated in addition to those signs allowed within such zone districts: (a) Residential signs. Residential signs shall be permitted in any zone which provides for residential land uses; (b) Political signs. Political signs shall be permitted in any zone, subject to the requirement that such signs shall not be nailed or affixed to any tree, fence post, or public utility pole and shall not be located in the public right-of-way, parkway, or publicly owned land; (c) Realty signs. Realty signs shall be permitted in any zone. Source: Ordinance No. 3226. SECTION 9-3604 . TEMPORARY SIGNS. The following signs are permitted in any zone on a temporary basis: (a) Development signs; (b) Subdivision signs; (c) Political signs, provided such signs shall not be posted more than forty-five (45) days before the election and shall be removed within thirty (30) days after the election. Source: Ordinance No. 3226. SECTION 9-3605 . OFF-PREMISE SIGNS. Unless otherwise speci- fied in this Title, the area, height, and spacing requirements for off-premise signs and advertising structures shall be as follows: Category Requirement Area 672 sq. ft. maximum, including border and trim, per sign face, 48 ft. maximum length Height 50 feet maximum above grade in any industrial zone; 45 feet maximum above grade in all other zones Spacing 1000 feet minimum from another off-premise sign on either side of the same street. Source: Ordinance No. 3226 . SECTION 9-3606. MONUMENT SIGNS. Monument signs shall be allowed in all commercial and industrial zones subject to the following requirements: (a) The maximum height shall be six (6) feet above the natural grade. (b) One (1) monument sign per business or industrial facility shall be allowed. (c) The maximum sign area shall be twenty-four (24) square feet per face, with double-faced signs permitted. 3 . 75 Rev. 11/ 4/91
