This addendum proposes to clarify and
modify the scope of work of the original AGE-prepared Ozone Injection Bench Scale Work Plan
(Work Plan), dated 15 May 2008.
AGE clarifies the following:
Location of proposed soil boring OZ-1 is shown on Figure 1. The ozone bench scale test
• (Ozone BST) soil samples will be collected from within the saturated zone;for the purpose
of reacting saturated soil with the ozone. Samples will be collected at 5-foot intervals
beginning at 15 feet below surface grade(bsg)and terminating at 35 feet bsg. Samples will
fbe representative of on-site"subsurface soil conditions.
I Three (3) sampling sleevescollected from each of the five (5) collection points (15 feet,
20 feet, 25 feet, 30 feet and 35 feet bsg)will be preserved for the Ozone BST as previously
proposed in the above referenced Work Plan.
• Ozone BST ground water samples will be collected from well MW-113, screened between
and MW-4, screened between 5 feet and 15 feet bsg. These samples
Sys will be representative of on'-site subsurface ground water conditions; reflecting impacted
ground water sample locations. Ground water samples are proposed to be collected from
IL wells MW-1B and MW-4 as these wells are consistently the most hydrocarbon-impacted
wells at the site. Additionally, well MW-IA is in close proximity to proposed boring OZ-1
and the former UST area,
• Approximately six(6) liters of ground water will be required from each sampling location
(MW-1B and MW-4) to perform the Ozone BST. Ground water samples will be collected
in four 40-milliliter (ml) volatile organic analysis (VOA) vials without preservative; one
837 Shaw Road, Stockton, California 95215
Telephone(209)467-1006 Fax(209)467-1118
f
