Hazardous Waste Contingency Plan <br />I-lolz Rubber Comnanv <br />3.1 Emergency Coordination Agreements — 40 CFR 262.256(b), 22 CCR 66264.52(c) <br />This section describes arrangements agreed to by the local police department, fire department, <br />hospitals, contractors, and state and/or local emergency response teams to coordinate emergency <br />services. Contact information for these departments is provided in Appendix B. <br />The Lodi Police Department has been requested to provide the following seri'ices in the event of an <br />emergency: <br />• Primary emergency authorit}� <br />• Irrunediate response <br />• Emergency transport services <br />• Crowd control assistance <br />• Communications support <br />• Security services <br />• Evacuation of surrounding areas, if required <br />The Lodi Fire Department has been requested to provide the following services in the event of an <br />emergency: <br />• Primary emergency authority <br />• Immediate response <br />• Primary fire -fighting services <br />• Rescue and emergency transport services <br />• Evacuation of surrounding areas, if needed <br />The Lodi Fire Department's Battalion Chief is responsible for coordinating emergency response <br />activities. If the circumstances extend beyond the Lodi Fire Department's capabilities or available <br />equipment, the facility will contact Safety Kleen to aid with the emergency. <br />The Site will coordinate with the Lodi Fire Department (Emergency 1v�Ianagement Offi <br />ce) to provide: <br />L;nzeraenc�1 <br />Plgnrrind: <br />• Integration of community emergency response plan and site-specific incident <br />• Communication with the Site Emergency Coordinators and other emergency responders <br />• Evacuation of surrounding areas, if required <br />• Assistance with follow up activities <br />Ernergeng Notifica <br />tiar: <br />• Set up an effective communication network to ensure that police, fire, and other <br />emergency responders are contacted as soon as possible <br />Reporting Ass <br />i.rtarrce: <br />• Make information about certain chemicals (use, storage, etc.) available to public <br />The Site will coordinate with a local hospital to provide emergenc}'medical services in the eT <br />-ent of an <br />7 <br />
