Mittelhauser is an environmental <br />' consultant with 18 years in the environmental field. The project <br /> will be managed by a California Registered Geologist. All <br />' Mittelhauser personnel present on site will have received 40--hour <br /> SARA hazardous site health and safety training. <br /> 1 Installation of a groundwater monitoring well to replace <br /> MW-31 demolished during excavation, will be done by West HazMat <br /> Drillers of Hayward, California, C-57 license #554979 . All <br /> personnel present on site will have received 20-hour or 40-hour <br /> ISARA hazardous site health and safety training. <br /> A Site Safety Meeting will be held each day before work <br /> commences, in which the work of the day, potential health and <br /> safety hazards, and emergency procedures will be discussed. <br /> I <br /> B. Equipment <br /> Demolition of structures will be accomplished with a <br /> ICaterpillar D-9 with 5-yard bucket and ripping teeth in back. <br /> Debris will be removed by 20-yard end-dump trucks. Excavation <br /> I will be done with a Komatsu 300 power shovel. 20-yard end-dump <br /> trucks will bring in clean gravel and soil for backfilling the <br /> pits. A vibratory compactor will compact soil to required <br /> Istandards. <br />' The replacement monitoring well will be installed using <br /> a Mobile B-57 drill rig with 8" hollow-stem auger. A 2" diameter <br /> well will be constructed of Schedule 40 PVC which is slotted from <br /> 10 feet below to five feet above the water table. The PVC will be <br /> surrounded by sand pack to one foot above the screened interval, <br />
