During the course of our communications with EHD <br /> in 2017, no mention was made of the need to obtain an EPA identification number... Why was that? Is this a <br /> new requirement? <br /> As to the location of our written plan, it was located in my office at the time of your inspection and Mr. Hibler <br /> did not have access to it. Due to the limitations posed by Covid 19, I am mailing you hard copies of the plan. <br /> As per our training of 2017, we had protocols for dealing with the metal shavings from our key cutting <br /> machine. Staff was advised that we could no longer simply dispose of them as they had been doing for <br /> years. A sealed, recycle bin was provided for dumping the vacuum cleaner into and that container was <br /> recycled at Sims Metal Management, 1000 Aurora Street, Stockton, CA. We are researching our receipts as <br /> evidence of proper disposal. <br /> As per our training of 2017, shavings from the pipe threader are also to be disposed of in a similar fashion as <br /> the key shavings. At this time, the container for the pipe threader has been moved and is now back in <br /> place. Those wastes are also recycled at Sims Metal. <br /> As per the operation manual for the pipe threader machine, the lubricate is processed every 3-6 months. This <br /> process involves filtering the remaining lubricant to remove as many shavings as possible and then reusing the <br />
