WORKPLAN <br /> for <br /> RE-EXCAVATION & RESAMPLE <br /> 21.167 No TRETHWAY ROAD <br /> ACAMPO, CA <br /> SITE CODE 4359 <br /> Prepared by <br /> Wm J Hunter & Associates <br /> September 25 , 1991 <br /> Revised October 18 , 1991 <br /> 1 Move in Jim Thorpe Oil equipment, remove pump house and <br /> associated piping and electrical lines located at southwest <br /> corner of existing excavation <br /> 2 Remove approximately 5 feet of material from the south <br /> wall and southeast corner of the existing excavation, under <br /> the direction of Wm J Hunter & Associates personel Spoil <br /> to be placed on plastic adjacent to existing pales located <br /> to the west of the excavation. It is estimated that a <br /> maximum of 152 cubic yards will be removed from this area, <br /> the actual amount will depend upon evaluation of the site <br /> • during excavation. <br /> 3 Remove approximately 3-5 feet of spoil from the north <br /> wall in the vicinity of previous sample #4 , actual amount to <br /> be determined as excavation proceeds , estimated to be 47 <br /> cubic yards <br /> 4 . Using the backhoe bucket, obtain samples from the sides <br /> and bottom of the newly excavated areas under the direction <br /> of the geologist and the representative from the County <br /> Samples to be collected in properly cleaned brass tubes <br /> supplied by FGL Environmental , sealed, labeled, stored, and <br /> transported to the lab under proper chain of custody <br /> Proposed re-excavation areas and sample locations are shown <br /> on Exhibits A, B, & C. <br /> 5. Samples to be analyzed for BTEX, TPH--G, TPH-D, EDB, and <br /> TOG, using test procedures and detection limits as specified <br /> by Tri-Regional Recommendations and EHD <br /> 6 Excavating and sampling operations to be witessed by a <br /> representative of the San Joaquin County EHD <br /> 7 Spoil removed from the re--excavation will be sampled as <br /> directed by the geologist & the County representative, and <br /> . will be tested for TPH-G, TPH-D, EDB, and oil & grease <br /> 8 <br />
