12.2 External Reporting <br />Releases must be reported to a variety of regulatory agencies under different circumstances. In <br />all instances when the Contingency Plan is implemented, both verbal and written notification is <br />required. <br />EFA responds to all reports of releases or other environmental occurrences through awell- <br />established reporting process. The EDO determines the reporting requirements and works with <br />Environmental Analysts and Laboratory management on the process of notifying federal, state, <br />and local regulatory agencies and DOE.
