Work Program <br /> The following work program has been developed by Jones & Stokes Associates to <br /> ensure that the EIR is prepared efficiently and comprehensively and meets the requirements <br /> of CEQA and the San Joaquin County Environmental Guidelines for the Implementation <br /> of CEQA. A more detailed description of the technical approach is included in Section III, <br /> "Proposed Scope of Work". <br /> Key steps in the EIR preparation process are summarized below: <br /> Task 1: Initiate project by meeting with county staff and the applicant following <br /> approval of the contract by the board of supervisors. <br /> Task 2: Review existing data and consult with county staff and other agencies as <br /> necessary. <br /> Task 3: Prepare detailed project description and identify the approach for the <br /> cumulative analysis. <br /> Task 4: Meet with county staff as necessary (ongoing task). <br /> Task 5: Submit administrative draft EIR. <br /> Task 6: Meet with county staff to review comments and receive one marked-up <br /> draft. <br /> Task 7: Submit draft EIR. <br /> Task 8: Submit administrative final EIR. <br /> Task 9: Meet with county staff to review comments and receive one marked-up <br /> draft. <br /> Task 10: Submit final EIR. <br /> Task 11: Attend four public hearings. <br /> II-1 <br />
