The 2.5 miles of paved roads within the project will be privately owned and maintained by <br /> the Homeowners' Association. Some cul-de-sacs will be necessary and will be designed <br /> with adequate turnaround space for fire equipment. <br /> Bridges <br /> The project will require construction of four on-site bridges crossing the North Lake at <br /> different points and one bridge crossing the Mokelumne River. It is anticipated that all of <br /> the bridges will be free spans, supported on driven pilings or drilled columns and will <br /> require minimum amounts of fill for approaches. <br /> Conceptual Designs are in Process for: <br /> 1. Typical cross sections of roads. <br /> 2. Typical lake crossing. <br /> 3. Approaches and bridge. <br /> 4. Typical culvert crossing. <br /> 5. Typical entry gates. <br /> 6. Plan for abandonment of Forest Lake Road. <br /> 7. Easements (if necessary) over private lots. <br /> Pedestrian Traffic <br /> A pedestrian trail system will be provided as described in Section 1.
