building along Forest Lake Road. Each homesite and the clubhouse will be wired to this
dish. Pacific Bell has issued a "will serve notice" for telephone service to the proposed
development.
Fire Control
The northern portion of the property is served by the Forest Lake Fire Department. The
Woodbridge Fire Department is the provider of fire services to the southern portion. The
applicant proposes that a primary and secondary fire service agreement be worked out
between the two districts.
Individual fire sprinkler systems will be required in each home, the clubhouse, and
maintenance buildings. These will be supplied from the individual domestic water systems.
Additional fire service will be provided by installation of 28 stand pipes. Standpipes will be
installed at each homesite location, at the clubhouse and at the maintenance building. These
pipes will draw water directly from the lakes. All driveways greater than 150 feet long will
either have a 50 foot minimum radius or a hammerhead for maneuvering fire equipment.
Lake water
Sources of water for the lakes include groundwater pumping, surface water runoff from
Jahant Slough, and diversion pumping from the Mokelumne River when available.
Designs for these facilities are in process:
1 . Excavation and capacity requirements
2. Lake outlet and flood control spillway structure
3. Lake to lake water transfer and impoundment
4.
