1 <br /> Working To Restore Nature <br /> Addendum One to Remedial Action Plan March 1, 1993 <br /> Coca-Cola Former Distribution Facility, Stockton, California 54006.01 <br /> ' permit application forms. <br /> The complete set of Plans and Specifications will also be submitted to the City Building, <br /> Planning and Fire Departments for review, comment and approval prior to construction and <br /> installation of the VES. <br /> Task 6. Pre-Construction Phase <br /> f This task includes necessary engineering and Contractor work prior to beginning <br /> construction. Contractor work includes, but is not limited to, ordering specified equipment <br /> and materials; scheduling field equipment and manpower; posting Bonds and paying <br /> necessary City Fees; attending the Pre-Construction Conference with the engineer and <br /> ' Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E); underground utility location; and equipment and <br /> manpower mobilization. The pre-construction phase of a project is generally about 4 to 6 <br /> weeks depending on the lead time needed between ordering and receiving equipment. <br /> Engineering pre-construction activities include a Pre-Construction Conference with the <br /> Contractor and PG&E, the City Inspector if applicable, and others as needed; a site visit <br /> with the Contractor; marling off the well numbers at the site; completing or assisting the <br /> Contractor with completing necessary PG&E service forms for electric service at the <br /> remediation compound; a site visit with PG&E; finalizing any outstanding Permits to <br /> Construct; informing the appropriate regulatory agencies of construction startup; and <br /> scheduling and coordination with the Contractor. <br /> i1Task 7. Construction <br /> ' After the SJVUAPCD Permit to Construct has been approved as well as the City Building <br /> Permit,and other necessary permits; and after the construction Contractor has had sufficient <br /> i time to order and receive the equipment and materials (about 4 to 6 weeks), construction <br /> will begin. <br /> The scope of work for construction is specified in detail in the construction Plans and <br /> Specifications,which together with any Addenda and Change Orders comprise the full scope <br /> of work. The construction phase of the project includes all construction Contractor, <br /> subcontractor, and PG&E direct costs for construction of the remediation system, including <br /> equipment, labor, and materials. <br /> I <br /> 11 <br />
