Clean fitting and <br /> apply 288 V between Bonding Ring&sump wall. <br /> STEP 1: Loosen Nuts&pull Back Metal Ring STEP 2: Clean all Repair Components STEP 3: Place Repair Boot <br /> • Remove Nuts&clamp Clean all repair components with DBC Place the split Repair Boot over the pipe with the <br /> • Pull back metal mounting flange&discard prior to installation sealing grooves toward the sump wall <br /> • Cut off old boot&discard <br /> • If present,Cut away old Insert&discard <br /> • Clean off any`paste'or other bonders from <br /> Traditional <br /> around the Environ body&sump wall, Repair Boot Cleaner <br /> • Clean&sand sump wall <br /> • Spray Environ Body-&sanded sump wall with <br /> DBC cleaner <br /> STEP 4: Bond Repair Boot STEP 5:Seal around the old boot&pipe <br /> • Apply Zip-Tite to the split Repair Boot. Use 2 of the Seal around the existing boot &pipe if needed. <br /> clamps,#72&20,to hold in place while curing. <br /> • Leave these clamps in place for approx 30 minutes <br /> for curing before proceeding to the next step - Apply a thick bead of DRP(or other approved sealer)between the old boot <br /> &the pipe,as needed,to fill any cracks or openings. <br /> - This area must be sealed before installing the repair boot. <br /> You must seal any open <br /> Fill port on top spaces between the pipe <br /> &Old Boot <br /> Diversified Products Manufacturing Inc.Environ Repair Manual Full Version Rev 3 Page 39 of 70 <br />
