Routine Monitoring Procedures
Page 2
B. The methods and equipment used to perform continuous monitoring are:
• Veeder-Root TLS-350 UST Monitoring System with Integral Printer
• Continuous Statistical Leak Detection
• Site fax modem
• GPH magnetostrictive in-tank volumetric probe
• Discriminating liquid sensors in the:
1. UST Interstitial space 2. Fill sump 3. Piping sump 4. Piping Vault
These sensors differentiate between hydrocarbons and other liquids (water).
C. Locations where monitoring is performed: (see the plot plan for physical location)
Continuous monitoring and leak detection are performed:
• In the interstitial space of the double wall UST
• In the primary tank(by volumetric test)
• In the fill sump
• In the piping sump
• In the piping vault
D. 1. The Local Manager "Don Austin" at(209) 230-0258 is responsible for performing:
• Operational monitoring
• On site record keeping,Note: Onsite records are maintained in metal record keeping
boxes mounted on the wall inside the switch room and label "Underground Fuel
Storage Tank Monitoring Records" and "Environmental Records".
• The reporting of any discrepancies and alarms with the monitoring system, UST,
piping, and associated hardware.
