Personnel: 1 Supervisor <br /> 6 Field Technicians <br /> 2 Equipment Operators <br /> Equipment: 1 Response Trucks <br /> 3 Gear Trucks <br /> 1 Response Trailer <br /> 1 Double Pressure Washer <br /> 1 70-bbl Vacuum Truck <br /> 3 Bales of 8"X 10' Sorbent Boom <br /> 60 Sand Bags <br /> 08/02/2018 — Patriot Environmental received a call to support Ten West Towing with ICS, <br /> operations and logistics to respond to, mitigate and clean up a 4000-gallon liquid asphalt <br /> emulsion spill estimated 0.6 miles into a dry ravine from an overturned tanker located in Pine <br /> Canyon, Lake Hughes, CA. Patriot Environmental Project Manager met with CA DFW-OSPR to <br /> determine response and cleanup objectives, prepare ICS 201 and associated documents including <br /> resources at risk and scope of work. Utilizing crew and equipment, Patriot gained access to the <br /> dry ravine by foot, hand dig/recover all spill materials and contain waste into roll off containers. <br /> Patriot utilized skid steer and back hoe at the spill source to cleanup initial release point. Waste <br /> to be recovered, quantified and transported off site for recycling and/or disposal per the approved <br /> waste management plan. Agencies involved were CA DFW-OSPR (OES# 18-5124), USFWS <br /> and Los Angeles County Fire Dept.
