Peters, Jr. —Sr. Director- Environmental, Health & Safety <br /> 4.15 Hazardous Waste Accumulation and Storage Time Limits <br /> 4.15.1 The maximum allowable amount of Hazardous Waste that may be accumulated and <br /> stored at Locations and the time limit for such storage are listed in Table 2 below. <br /> Table 2 <br /> Generator Maximum Time Monthly Accumulation Limit Maximum Amount Permitted <br /> Status Waste May be On-Site at Any Time <br /> Accumulated <br /> VSQG 365 days < 100 kg (220 lbs) < 1,000 kg (2,200 lbs) <br /> < 1 kg Acutely Hazardous Waste < 1 kg Acutely Hazardous <br /> Waste <br /> < 100 kg (220 lbs)spill residue <br /> From Acutely Hazardous Waste <br /> SQG 180 days < 1,000 k 2,200 lbs <6,000 k 13,200 lbs <br /> LQG 90 days No limit No limit <br /> 4.15.2 Locations shall not exceed the accumulation or time limits referenced in Table 1 and <br /> Table 2 referenced above. <br /> 4.15.3 Satellite Accumulation Areas shall not contain more than 55 gallons in aggregate of <br /> Hazardous Waste or one (1) quart of Acutely Hazardous Waste per Satellite <br /> Accumulation Area. <br /> 4.15.4 Satellite Accumulation Area containers shall be moved to the Central Accumulation <br /> Area or removed and disposed of by the approved Hazardous Waste Transporter <br /> within three (3) days from the time the Satellite Accumulation Container(s) becomes <br /> full. <br /> 4.16 Hazardous Waste Pick-ups <br /> 4.16.1 Hazardous Waste shall be picked up, transported, and disposed of by the Approved <br /> Hazardous Waste Transporter. <br /> 4.16.2 Hazardous Waste pick-ups shall be scheduled either on an as-needed basis, or on a <br /> pre-determined schedule. Hazardous Waste pick-ups shall not be cancelled such <br /> than any amount of Hazardous Waste remains on site longer than prescribed in <br /> Table 2 (Section 4.15..2 of this Standard), based on the generator status of the <br /> location. Additional pick-ups are permitted as needed. <br /> 4.16.3 The Approved Hazardous Waste Transporter shall complete the Hazardous Waste <br /> Shipping Documents to include any Hazardous Waste being removed from the <br /> Location or site. <br /> 4.16.3.1 Only DEAs shall review the Hazardous Waste Shipping Documents for <br /> accuracy and shall certify by signature that the information on the <br /> Hazardous Waste Shipping Documents is correct. <br /> Any printed copy of this document is an uncontrolled document.
